Gamemaya is an entertainment company specialized in the mobile environment. We create free mobile games and applications that aim to entertain people by leveraging global creative power.

The purpose of this policy is to provide you with all the important information and explanations about how and why some of your data may be collected and processed by Gamemaya when you use one of our applications or browse on our website. This privacy policy governs and details the main principles that Gamemaya applies to the data we collect and process to:

Why does Gamemaya collect data from its apps and games?


When you install and use Game mobile applications, we can collect and process some of your data for different legitimate purposes.

You will find below explanations regarding the reasons why Gamemaya may collect data and the legal bases Gamemaya relies on in each case.

Gamemaya collects data:

  • To provide you with the services you asked for
      • (e.g., knowing that you completed the first level to allow access to the second one)
    • Legal basis – such data processing is strictly necessary for the service(s) asked
  • To run analytics and understand how users interact with our product and services in order to continuously improve it
      • (e.g. identifying that a feature is annoying for users or that a level is too difficult for most gamers)
    • Legal basis - Express consent. Gamemaya only processes or shares personal data collected through Gamemaya apps for analytics purposes once you express your consent through the pop-up notice included in our apps.
  • To serve advertising tailored to the preference and interests of our users
      • (e.g. identifying that a feature is annoying for users or that a level is too difficult for most gamers)
    • Legal basis - Express consent. Gamemaya only processes or shares personal data collected through Gamemaya apps for analytics purposes once you express your consent through the pop-up notice included in our apps.

    For all data processing activities that rely on users’ consent, you can withdraw your consent at any time from the “settings” page in our various applications.

    Please only note that in the case where you withdraw your consent or where you refuse to consent in the first place, you will still be served with advertising but that may be less relevant to you as it will not be tailored to your interests.

    What data does Gamemaya collect from its apps and games?


    For all the purposes listed above the data that Gamemaya collect is limited to:

  • The apps you are using
  • Your IP address
  • Your Mobile Advertising ID (Apple IDFA or Google AAID - which are technical identifiers developed by mobile operating systems for advertising purposes which remain under your control and can be reset or erased at any time in through your device settings)
  • Technical information about the device you use and your connection (user agent, type of connection, timestamp)
  • Data pertaining to your activities on our applications and notably the way in which you interact with our applications (for instance, how and when you use our applications) and with the advertising served in our applications (for instance, number of ads served, potential clicks)

    When you consent to the collection of data for advertising and analytics purpose, we may share the data listed above with the following categories of recipients:

  • Ad Partners: that allow us to monetize the ad inventory of our apps and provide users with free products and services.

    Why does Gamemaya collect data from its website?


    Like on most websites, when you browse on gamemaya.io certain information about your connection and device(s) are automatically collected for the website to operate properly.

    Gamemaya and its partners also use cookies and similar technologies to analyze how our users interact with our services and administer the website. Cookies are small text files stored on your browser that allow the collection of non-personally identifiable information related to your navigation on a website.

    How long does Gamemaya keep your data?


    Personal data collected, received and processed for the purposes described in this policy is not kept longer than necessary for the purposes described above in this section.

    In all cases, Gamemaya does not retain such data for more than 13 months.


    Children data


    • Children Under The Age Of 13

      Gamemaya does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register. If you are under 13, please do not attempt to register for Gamemaya or send any information about yourself to us. No one under age 13 may provide any personal information to or on Gamemaya. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 we will delete that information as quickly as possible.       We recommend that minors over the age of 13 ask their parents for permission before sending any information about themselves to anyone over the Internet.


    In-app Purchase


    Some of our products and Services offer in-app purchases for certain features or items, such as in-game currency/gems against real money. It is not necessary to make any in app purchases to win prizes or effectively use the apps. There is no cap on the number of in app purchases you can make and you acknowledge and agree that you are fully responsible for managing your in app purchases and the amount you spend on in app purchases within our app. If you do not want to make in-app purchases, please do not use these options and consider disabling them on your device.

    Making an in-app purchase may require you to share personal identification information with us. If any private information is shared through Google Play during purchases, it is stored and secured by Google. We only receive the Order ID or Transaction ID and the Receipt Data, which we store as a record of the transaction on our end. Same applies for transactions on Apple ID.

    It should also be noted that the purchase of these features and in-game currency, such as virtual coins, cash, gold, gems and diamonds, points, etc. last only for the duration of the app or game. If you choose to uninstall the game or app, these features and coins will cease to exist, and are not transferable. These virtual items subsequently cannot be exchanged into real money or refunded. You understand that you do not own Virtual Items, but acquire a limited license to use Virtual Items according to the specific Game’s gameplay.


    No Refund policy


    In-app purchases are not refundable. Gamemaya follows no-refund policy for all in-app purchases.


    Disclosing Information


    We may disclose the personal information we hold about you in the following circumstances:

    • If we are required or authorised to disclose by law or by a law enforcement agency;
    • To our business partners in the course of providing our Products and Services to you, or generally in the conduct of our business. This may include organisations that provide services to us, such as payment processors or hosting services
    • To avoid, lessen or prevent a serious emergency or crime. If we use or disclose personal information about you in those circumstances we will make a written record of such use or disclosure.

    Push Notifications


    With your consent, we may send push notifications or alerts to your mobile device to provide app-related information, service updates, promotional communications and other related messages. You can deactivate these notifications by changing your notification settings on your device.


    Storage and Security

    We follow generally accepted industry standards and maintain reasonable safeguards to attempt to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of the information in our possession. Further, while we attempt to ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent third-party “hackers” from illegally obtaining access to this information. We do not warrant or represent that your Account or any of Your Information will be protected against, loss, misuse, or alteration by third parties. However, in case of such a scenario, we will notify you as soon as we know, and no later than 72 hours since such an event.


    What rights do you have?

    If you wish to use any of the rights described below, you may contact us at any time by emailing us at contact@gamemaya.io We process and answer your requests without undue delay and in any event within one month of our receipt of the request unless a longer period is required due to the complexity of the request. In this case, our response time can be up to three months in total as permitted by the GDPR.


    Right to request access

    You have the right to request access into the data that we are processing on you, including information about:

    • The purposes of the processing
    • The categories of personal data concerned
    • The recipients or categories of recipient to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed
    • The envisaged period for which the personal data will be stored

    Furthermore, you have the right to obtain a copy of the personal data undergoing processing. Please note that the access may be restricted in case of intellectual property or trade secrets.


    The right to object

We will cease the processing of your personal data for this purpose after the objection. Please note that if you exercise this right, your user license to use the App will cease automatically.

    • The personal data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed.

    If you withdraw your consent, we will cease processing of the data for which you have withdrawn consent, unless we have a legal obligation to keep some or parts of your data.

    Please note that if you withdraw your consent, your user license to use the App will cease automatically.

    The withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on your consent before its withdrawal.

    By using any of the Services offered by Gamemaya and by giving the company consent, Users agree to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy, and you also consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your information by Gamemaya in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Service.
